This morning we left the campground around 8:30 and traveled to my aunt’s house. We were happy to leave our truck in her driveway, and she drove into the city. It was very nice to be with someone who knew their way around.

Our destination was the Georgia Aquarium.

It was so awesome – I took tons of pictures, but will only post a few of my favorites.

After our visit to the aquarium, my aunt took us to the Georgia Tech campus where she worked until she retired, and still works part-time now.

It’s like a little city within a city.

Hard to believe that we have been here a week already. It’s been a lot of fun. We have only a couple days left before we continue our journey south. We are hoping to find some warmer weather as we head down through Alabama!

  2. Your pictures really turned out great. I took some in an aquarium and you could hardly tell what we were looking at. Having somebody who knows the area to act as tour guide is such a plus.

  4. Isn't the aquarium amazing, one of the best we've ever been to. Enjoy the rest of your family time, safe travels southward. Maybe our paths will cross as you head westward to the Gulf and we head eastward along it.
